WE STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE MI'KMAQ PEOPLES
The Herd Archive condemns the acts of violence and discrimination against the Indigenous peoples of Mi’kma’ki. We urge the members of our community, as well as all Canadians, to educate themselves on the atrocities being committed by non-Indigenous groups against the Mi’kmaq peoples. We assert that the right of the Mi’kmaq harvesters to pursue and cultivate their livelihood ought to be upheld and protected.
